Der Vogelsbergkreis, Bundesland Hessen, besitzt mit 78 Einwohnern\/km2 (gegen\u00fcber 287,4 Einwohner\/km2 im gesamten Land Hessen) eine \u00e4u\u00dferst geringe Bev\u00f6lkerungsdichte. 37 % der Kreis-Fl\u00e4che ist mit Wald bedeckt, 56 % der gesamten landwirtschaftlichen Nutzfl\u00e4che (111.294 ha (LF)) wird ackerbaulich, 44 % als Dauergr\u00fcnland genutzt. Somit ist der Anteil an Dauergr\u00fcnland an der LF etwa 15 % h\u00f6her als im Bundesdurchschnitt (~ 30%).<\/p>\n

Die durchschnittliche Betriebsgr\u00f6\u00dfe liegt mit 41 ha LF\/Betrieb \u00fcber dem hessischen Durchschnitt von 32,6 ha.
