Der fl\u00e4chige Bestand ist zudem Habitat f\u00fcr ma\u00dfgebliche Vogelarten des EU-Vogelschutzgebietes „Vogelsberg“. Die Fl\u00e4che liegt in der N\u00e4he von Frischborn im Natuschutzgebiet M\u00f6nchswiesen. Hauptbestandsbildner sind hier die Sauergr\u00e4ser Waldsimse (Scirpus sylvatica) und Zweizeilige Segge (Carex disticha), <\/i>daneben noch Sumpf-Reitgras (Calamagrostis canescens)<\/i> und (Filipendula ulmaria<\/i>).
