Lake Constance Foundation

The Lake Constance Foundation (Bodensee Stiftung) is a project-oriented, non-governmental organization for nature conservation. It works towards a sustainable economy in the international Lake Constance area and beyond.

Hessian Ministry of the Environment, Climate Protection, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (HMUELV)

The Ministry presents bills in State or Federal parliament and is responsible for the sustainable protection of mankind and their natural resources.

Severn Wye Energy Agency Limited (SWEA)

SWEA is an independent charity (energy agency) and a non-profit company which aims to promote sustainable energy and affordable heating through partnership, awareness-raising, innovation and strategic action in Wales & South West England.

Cwm Harry Land Trust

Based in Wales, Cwm Harry focuses on community owned business and enterprises that help to better manage & understand the environment. They provide capacity building and support community ownership & small scale enterprises to increase sustainability.

Aberystwyth University

The Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences (IBERS) at Aberystwyth University, is an internationally recognised research & teaching centre providing a unique research in response to global challenges like bioenergy, sustainability & the impacts of climate change.

National Trust

The National Trust as one of the largest land private land owners in the UK participated in the COMBINE projects by allowing one of its properties (Hafod y Llan) to be used as one of the demonstration sites.

France

AILE

AILE is a local energy agency founded in 1995 under the European SAVE programme. AILE is working on renewable energies and energy savings in agricultural and rural areas of Western France. Their usual partners are both farmers and local authorities.

Kerval Centre Armor

Kerval Centre Armor (KCA) is an intercommunal household waste treatment and recycling syndicate. They treat and recycle waste for Côtes d’Armor municipalities. Kerval obtained the label “zero waste territory”.

Departement of Côtes d’Armor (CG22)

CG22 is an administrative division of Brittany and is responsible for road management and maintenance. It is also in charge of managing natural areas through a special tax on new buildings, and developing hiking and cycling paths.

Western Development Commission (WDC)

The WDC is a statutory body that was set up to promote the social and economic development of the Western Region of Ireland. WDC is developing projects in the fields of renewable energy, tourism, industry, marine, technology and agri-food.

University of Gent

Energy Agency of the Regions (EAR)

EAR is coaching "climate- and energy model regions" on their way to energetic self sufficiency. EAR is permanent partner in different EU-projects in the programmes IEE and ETC. EAR is part of the network of apr. 380 european energy agencies.

The Competence Centre for Nature Management is a pioneer in bringing new renewable technologies, methodologies and best practices to the forefront of the region in order to help the regional farmer and forest owner community to access new possibilities.

BIOMASA is a non-profit organisation working with municipalities, schools and health care institutions mostly in north-west Slovakia. Since it's foundation in 1999 BIOMASA became the leader in the field of biomass utilisation in Slovakia.

Energy Agency of the Zliin Region

EAZK participates in suggest-ing and implementing new documents and policies in the Zlín region in the field of energy, environment & innovations. Members of the agency are part of various committees and working groups on regional and national level.
